Our process —

You will fill out our contact form to indicate your wedding, event or business need. We will respond via email within 24 hours to begin the conversation.

Whether in person or via Zoom we will connect to hear more about your needs and vision, and designing with local, seasonal flowers & sustainable mechanics (the foundations used to create floral designs). This 45 minute consultation is to determine if we are a great fit for you. It is not a design meeting! (yet)

Once you decide on partnering with Parsley & Rue to design your event flowers, we will send you a contract. Once the contract is signed we will set up our first design meeting: this is where we discuss venue, date, palette, vision, feel, and budget. There is a strong emphasis on understanding exactly what ambiance, vibe, emotional feeling and aesthetic most resonates with you.

After our first design meeting we will create a dynamic “floral storyboard” for your event, including proposed arrangements and installations, palette, suggested seasonal flowers, a budget breakdown so you can see where the floral emphases are, and a timeline. You will have the chance to approve the storyboard or ask for changes. Then we begin the process of planning, curation & design, staying in commmunication with you all the way up to your event date.

Weddings & Events
From petite elopements to larger weddings, milestone celebrations, meetings and more. Sustainable, garden-style arrangements & installations created with local, seasonal flowers and no-foam, eco-friendly mechanics (foundation items that hold the design together.) On-site or a la carte. Bring your ideas & we’ll work with you to create your sustainable floral vision. We strive hard to make not only the end result beautiful, unique and spot-on, but the entire floral process smooth, positive and completely transparent.
All florals are created using local & seasonal blooms and sustainable mechanics and practices.
